IndustriGen kicks off an Affordable Automation Accelerator Programme

 

  • Join industry and academic experts from the Royal Academy of Engineering, University of Leeds, University of Salford, University of Manchester, The Blair Project, etc. for three events, dedicated to affordable automation in manufacturing;
  • Free 1 on 1 digitalisation sessions will be provided to selected participants;
  • The events will take place online on September 30, October 13, and November 3.

 

Small manufacturers and enterprises looking for innovation and automation solutions will have a good opportunity to learn and develop in three upcoming accelerator events. Starting from September 30, they will receive free online tailored automation support from IndustriGen, University of Manchester, MIDAS, MakeUK and University of Salford.

On September 30, 5PM (BST), the accelerator programme kicks off with an insightful talks on Affordable Automation, featuring prof. Phil Webb, an Airbus Professor at the Royal Academy of Engineering, prof. Robert Richardson from the University of Leeds, Todor Gigilev, Dreamix CEO and prof. Samia Nefti-Meziani, Founder of the Centre for Autonomous Systems and Advanced Robotics.

 

The second event on October 13, 5PM (BST) will dive deep into the topic of AI Quality Control, and will feature Georgi Yordanov, Operations Manager at SAPRO and Hristo Tomov, IndustriGen’s CTO. 

 

The third and conclusive event will focus on Digital Twinning and will feature prof. Paulo Bartolo, INdustry 4.0 Lead at the University of Manchester, Dr. Marilyn Comrie-OBE, Director of the Blair Project, and Paul Jones, Chief Executive of the Northern Automotive Alliance.

 

The participants selected will be up to 100, based on the relevance of the industry they represent and the questions and topics of their interest. A selected group will receive tailored mentoring from key speakers at the events.
